How it started
Heart and Soul wasn’t just a whim—it was a vision God gave to Pastor Austin in 2010, as a college freshman. What started as a whisper from God grew into a full-blown mission, impossible to ignore. Fast forward to March 2020: while the world wrestled with a pandemic, Austin, Sara, and six bold families packed up and charged into Knoxville, ready to turn vision into reality.
Then came September 20, 2020—the day Heart and Soul roared to life. Hundreds showed up, the atmosphere buzzed with expectation. Over 20 souls stepped into faith in Jesus that day, proving this wasn’t just a dream, but was now a reality. God had begun to Fill Heaven through Heart and Soul.
How it’s going
Since launching in September 2020, Heart and Soul has ignited a movement in Knoxville that’s impossible to ignore. Hundreds have encountered Jesus, taken the plunge into baptism, and found their place in God’s family right here in our city. Lives are transforming, and the ripple effect is just beginning.
But we’re not slowing down. We’re convinced the best chapters are still unwritten. We believe that God’s best is still ahead.
